Parents

His parents were Howard H. and Ellis Wright. His grandfather was Howard S. Wright (1861-1940), a cabinetmaker who founded the Howard S. Wright Construction Company in Port Townsend, WA, in 1885. The company relocated its headquarters to Everett, WA, in 1893 and to Seattle, WA, in 1929.

A sister, Janet Wright Ketcham, survived Howard S. Wright at this death in 1996.

In 1952, Howard S. Wright married the heiress, Theiline Pigott, (her family founded the Seattle Rail Car Company later known as PACCAR); they divorced in 1978. He remarried Carol Wright in 1983.

Howard and Theiline Piggott Wright had 5 children: sons Howard S. III, Jeffrey, Taylor, David and a daughter, Lee Wright Rolfe.

SSN: 531-22-6274; Howard S. Wright was elected to the Washington State Horse Racing Commission in 1973. he was a staunch Republican. Wright died of an aortic aneurysm, five days after he passed out at a dinner at the Seattle Tennis Club.
