Roberts operated an architectural office in Downtown, Seattle, WA, 1921-1939. He made a specialty of designing tall apartment buildings. In 1921, his office was at 1056 Empire Building; in 1922-1924, it was 337 Burke Building; in 1925-1926, he moved to 510 Burke Building; between 1927-1936, he rented offices at 402 Lloyd Building; for two years, 1937-1939, he located himself two floors below at 210 Lloyd Building.
