Firm Notes
Percy and Hamilton, both natives of Maine, operated a prestigious architectural office in San Francisco, CA. In 1883, they maintained an office in the office building at 318 Pine Street in San Francisco. (See the San Francisco, California, City Directory, 1883, p. 1106.) Following Frederick F. Hamilton's death on 12/01/1899, George Washington Percy entered into a brief architectural partnership with the brilliant but erratic Willis J. Polk, whose family architectural business came to an end in 1899.
