Exhibit Notes

The exhibit was held at the Seattle Fine Arts Galleries, 1213 4th Avenue. The Seattle Union Record reported on 04/03/1922: “Photographs and drawings of attractive Seattle homes built during the past two years will be featured, according to Joseph S. Cote, chairman in charge of the exhibits.” This story continued: ""Each Wednesday afternoon will be given to the subject of gardens, formal and informal. Interior decoration, furniture arrangement, rugs and hangings, and a variety of other interesting topics are on the program. High school students interested in architecture are specially invited to attend the exhibition and hear illustrated talks on Friday afternoons." Various members gave these illustrated talks connected to the event, including Carl F. Gould, Sr., W.R.B. Willcox, Joseph S. Cote, Dr. Henry Suzzallo of the University of Washington. Recent work at the University of Washington by Bebb and Gould was featured. Harlan Thomas provided an exhibit and lecture on Japanese prints.
