James FitzGerald designed the bronze sculpture in the lobby.

In 1960, the Marsh and McLennan-Cosgrove and Company, insurance adjusters and consulting actuaries, had its Seattle office in Room #1630 of the Washington Building. (See Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1960, p. 221.)
