Building History

Designed by Berkeley, CA-based architectural firm the Elbasani Logan & Severin (ELS) Design Group, this $7.5 million multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility was constructed between 06/1971-08/29/1973. Berkeley structural engineering firm T.Y. Lin and Associates and General Contractor E.L. Nezelek also collaborated on the cultural center's design and construction. The Broome County Cultural Center seated 4,710 for hockey and 6,925 for musical events.
