Architect John Galen Howard wrote in 1926: "For the present the administration occupies the ground floor and a partial mezzanine floor of the Education Hall, the upper two stories containing classrooms. Eventually the ground floor also will be remodeled for classrooms, but for the present a fairly typical plan for the administration offices of a state university on a considerable scale as to size, but modest as compared with what will in time be the reasonably expected growth of the university, say 10 or 15 years from now."
