Partners: network

William Ely Boone, Stephen Joseph Meany, George Cook Meeker

Active 1882-1888

Firm Notes

The nature of Boone and Meeker's partnership is not clear. They operated primarily in two different places, Seattle and the Bay Area. Boone managed the Seattle operations, while Meeker supervised CA work. Meeker seems to have worked in Oakland, CA, from 1878-1884 and 1888-1892 or 1893, San Jose, CA, from 1892-1902. Ochsner and Andersen suggested in their book, Distant Corner, (p. 332) that Meeker may have resided in Puyallup, WA, between 1884 and 03/1886, but by the latter date returned to CA for good.
