Building Notes

A classified advertisement in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, 04/24/1889, stated that architect W.E. Boone (1830-1921) was accepting contractor's bids for a building commissioned by Guy Phinney: "To contractors--Bids for grading G.C. Phinney's lot, on Front street, will be received until Saturday, April 27; bids for grading the Y.M.C.A. lot, on Front street, until May 4; bids for the erection of Bowman's building on South Second street until Saturday, April 27.
