This article discussed the lack of safety standards for construction crane operation in the State of Washington. A collapse of a 210-foot crane on the site of the Civica Office Commons, Bellevue, WA, killed one man and caused tens of millions of dollars damage. One of the buildings damaged was Pinnacle BellCentre Apartments.
