In 1912 Naramore became architect and superintendent for the Portland Public Schools, and during his seven years in that position designed the Ainsworth, Capitol Hill, Couch, Fulton Park, Glenn Haven, Kellog, Kennedy, Kenton, Sellwood, Shattuck, Terwilliger, and Woodstock elementary Schools. He also designed the Arleta and Highland Manual Training Buildings, and Franklin and Benson Polytechnic High Schools." p. 293
