The article stated: "Controllers, accountants and othersin the Seattle-Tacoma area responsible for conducting business affairs of consulting--engineering and architectural firms have formed an organization called the Engineers and Architects Business Group. James D. German, chief accountant at Shannon & Wilson, Inc., Seattle-based soils and foundation engineer is chairman."
In addition to Shannon and Wilson, Skilling, Helle, Cbristiansen and Robertson, NBBJ, other founding firms in the group included: Stevens, Thomspson and Runyan, Inc., N.G. Jacobsen and Associates, CH2M-Hill, Kirk Wallace, McKinley and Associates, Kramer, Chin and Mayo, R.W. Beck and Associates, Gardener Engineers, URS-Hill, Ingman, Chase and Company, Jones Associates, Pacific Architects and Engineers, Victor O. Gray and Company, and Wilsey and Ham, Inc. "Membership chairmen are Richard Koopmans of N.B.B.& J., and Edward Wolfe of the Skilling firm."
