Parents
His father, Emil W. Anderson, (born c. 1889 in Sweden), migrated to the US from Sweden c. 1913, and ran a Seattle machine shop in 1930. Emil married Einar's mother, Hannah B. Anderson, (born c. 1892 in Sweden), c. 1915. According to the 1930 US Census, she managed the household, that included two sons, Andrew (born c. 1919 in WA), the eldest, and Einar. In 1937, the Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1937, (p. 116), indicated that Emil Anderson was the President of Anderson Brothers Machine and Iron Works.
