Relocation
Born in NY State, Llewellyn Dutton resided in Chicago, IL, in 1900. In 1900, he resided at 948 Greenleaf Avenue in Chicago's northern Rogers Park neighborhood, with his wife Fannie, and children Albert and Willis. In addition, Fannie's 25-year-oled sister, Matties S. York lived with them as noted by the US Census. (See Ancestry.com, Source Citation Year: 1900; Census Place: Chicago Ward 25, Cook, Illinois; Roll: 276; Page: 8; Enumeration District: 0776; FHL microfilm: 1240276, accessed 09/19/2022.)
In Chicago, Dutton worked for the noted archtiectural firm of D.H. Burnham and Company, whose principal had supervised the phenomenally popular World's Fair: Columbian Exposition of 1893. Llewelleyn Dutton was sent by the Burnham office to supervise this new outlet.
