An important and productive architectural firm straddling the 19th and 20th centuries, Morgan and Walls, Architects and Engineers, operated in Los Angeles, CA. It produced some of the most notable commercial buildings in Downtown Los Angeles during the 1890-1910 period, including the Nadeau House (1882), Farmers and Merchants Bank of Los Angeles (1905), Hellman Building (1910) and Van Nuys Building (1911).
This firm succeeded Kysor, Morgan and Walls (1887-1890) and was superceded by Morgan, Walls and Morgan in 04/1910. Octavius Weller Morgan, Sr., (1886-1951), who just graduated from Stanford University, replaced his father, Octavius Morgan (1850-1922), in the firm in 1910. to create Morgan, Walls and Morgan.
