This architecture-engineering-project management company was headquartered in Georgia. It began in 1952 as an architectural partnership, Heery and Heery, between a father and son, C. Wilmer Heery, Jr., and George T. Heery (1927-2021). C. Wilmer operated the original location in Athens, GA, while George opened a branch office in Atlanta.
It was purchased by British Insulated Callender's Cables (BICC) in 1986, although George Heery remained as Chief Executive Officer of Heery until 03/1989. BICC renamed itself "Balfour Beatty" in 2000.
The real estate behemoth CBRE bought Heery Internation from Balfour Beatty in 10/2017.
