Robert Fisher formed a partnership with Harry Gunderson to create the Fisher/Riesdorf Construction Company in the 1950s. Once his son, Jerome was old enough to work with him, Robert pulled out of the Fisher/Riesdorf partnership to create JRF Construction in 1975. When another son joined the enterprise, its name was changed to Fisher and Sons, Incorporated. John Bustad combined his construction company with that of Fisher and Sons in the late 1970s. This firm operated its headquarters in Burlington, WA, in 2008. It owned JTM Construction at this time. On 03/31/2015, Fisher and Sons, Inc., became known as the "Fisher Construction Group," an employee-owned entity led by Dan Powers as President and CEO.
