Firm Notes
Architects Myron H. Hunt (1868-1952) and Harold C. Chambers (1885-1971) worked in Los Angeles and its vicinity.
Myron Hunt worked on his own from 1908-1920. Harold Coulson Chambers started working with Hunt as a draftsman in 1907, when the latter was still a partner with architect Elmer Grey, (1903-1908), and gradually worked his way up to partner in 1920.
The Huntington Library in San Marino, CA, holds the papers of architect Myron Hunt, which also include those for the firm of Hunt and Chambers. (See Online Archive of California.org, Huntington LIbrary.org, "Myron Hunt Papers: Finding Aid," accessed 04/21/2020.) Some archival documents on Myron Hunt and the work of Hunt and Chambers are also housed at the Architecture and Design Collection of the University Museum, University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB).
