Lawrence M. Baugh (1910-2000) founded the Baugh Construction Company in 1946.
In 1966, the Associated General Contractors of America (AGCA), Incorporated, presented the Baugh Construction Company its annual award for posting that year's best safety record in the category of firms working 100,000 to 200,000 man hours. (See "Baugh Co. Honored by Contractors," Seattle Times, Garden Guides page, 04/17/1966, p. 45.)
Skanska USA Group purchased the Baugh Construction Company in 2000.
