In 2005, Rudolph and Sletten (R & S) was headquartered in Redwood City, CA. It operated independently between 1962 and 2005.

On 10/04/2005, the Framingham, MA-based Perini Corporation, a building, civil construction and construction management company, bought all of the stock of R & S, a deal worth approximately $50 million. In 2004, R & S earned about $695 million in revenue. Ronald N. Tutor (born 1941 in Los Angeles, CA) was the Perini Corporation's Chairman and CEO in 2005. Perini, was in turn, owned by the Sylmar, CA-based giant Tutor-Saliba Construction, which bought Perini in 1997, in a takeover orchestrated by Tutor and investment banker Richard Charles Blum (born 07/31/1935), head of the San Francisco private equity firm, Blum Capital (founded in 1975). Blum wed the CA politician Dianne Feinstein (born 06/22/1933) in 1980. Tutor-Saliba and Perini Corporation formally merged in 2008 in a deal worth $862 million. The entity, Perini Corporation, changed its name to the "Tutor-Perini Corporation" in 05/2009.

In 2018, Rudolph and Sletten maintained its corporate headquarters in San Carlos, CA, at 2 Circle Star Way,4th Floor. It had five regional offices: Sacramento (1504 Eureka Road Room #200, Roseville, CA, 95661), Los Angeles (601 South Figueroa Street Room #3750, Los Angeles, CA 90071), Orange County (16851 Hale Avenue, Irvine, CA 92606), San Diego (Comerica Bank Building, 600 B Street, San Diego, CA 92101) and a yard in Stockton (3614 Zephyr Court, Stockton, CA 95206).

Three years later, Rudolph and Sletten maintained the same offices in San Carlos, Roseville, Downtown Los Angeles and Stockton, but had a new location in San Diego (7584 Metropolitan Drive, Suite #100, San Diego, CA 92108). In addition, another new office serving Irvine and Orange County had opened and operated at 2855 Michelle Drive, Suite #150, Irvine, CA 92606. In 2021, Jonathan Foad served a President / Chief Executive Officer, assisted by an executive team composed of Michael Mohrman, senior vice-president for preconstruction services; and Marian Selvaggio, vice-president and general counsel.
