Focused on transportation and infrastructure engineering projects, DMJM Harris was formed by the merger resources from the three main firms: the Los Angeles-based architect-engineering firm, Daniel Mann Johnson and Mendenhall (established in 1946), Frederic R. Harris, Incorporated (est. 1927), and Holmes and Narver (est. 1933). This company, like a number of others, is part of a group of architecture and engineering concerns controlled by AECOM of Los Angeles, CA. In 2006, DMJM Harris operated Pacific Northwest offices in Salem, OR (tel: 503.363.6175), Boise, ID, and Bellevue, WA (tel: 425.454.5600); DMJM Harris also operated ten offices in California: Carson, Encinitas, Los Angeles (2), Oakland (2), Ontario, Orange, Sacramento, and San Diego.
