Reed and Stem were headquartered in Saint Paul, MN, and later had an office in New York, NY, during the design and construction of the city's Grand Central Terminal; they specialized in railroad depots across the U.S.; they collaborated with New York architects, Warren and Wetmore, on the plans for Grand Central Terminal in New York, NY.
In 1902, Reed and Stem had their offices in Rooms #601-605 on the top floor of the landmark Endicott Building in Saint Paul. The L-shaped Endicott Block was designed by architects Cass Gilbert (1859-1934) and James Knox Taylor (1857-1929) and completed in 1890.
