From 1952 through 1969, this firm operated from an office at 432 Eastlake Avenue, in the Eastlake Neighborhood of Seattle, WA, where a number of other architectural firms had situated.

A note in the Seattle Times in late 1969 indicated that the firm had been purchased by a multinational architecture and engineering company: "Carlson, Eley, Grevstad, Seattle architect, has become a division of Pacific Architects and Engineers, Incorporated, with offices in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Bangkok, Manila, Saigon, Seoul, Athens and Washington, D.C. (See "Division," Seattle Times, 12/29/1969, p. A18.)
