Richard Glumac founded his engineering firm in San Francisco, CA, in 1976. During the next 40 years it became a leading engineering consultancy focused on sustainable infrastructure design.
By 2017, Steven Straus served as Glumac's President. It was purchased by the Pasadena, CA-based engineering and design firm, Tetra Tech on 10/03/2017, becoming an autonomous division. The firm was known in 2017 as "Glumac, Incorporated," but it was popularly known simply as Glumac.
