McKinley's firm designed several high-rise buildings in Seattle and Bellevue, WA. In mid-August 1978, the firm of Kirk, Wallace and McKinley Architects became The McKinley Architects. Paul Hayden Kirk remained on as a "consulting architect" for the new firm. The firm was succeeded by McKinley Gordon, Architects, Seattle, WA.
