The Wilsonian has a grand ballroom, offices, stores, and 94 apartments.

In 1928, restaurateur Helen Swope operated the Via Fontana Restaurant in the Wilsonian. At the same time, Swope also ran the Early American Room, an American Colonial-themed dining spot located on the second floor of the Republic Building in Downtown, Seattle, WA. A Tully's Coffee cafe operated in a first-floor storefront on the building's northwest corner from 12/14/2000-09/23/2012. (See Lauren Becherer, "Tully's Coffee closed after 12 years on The Ave," The Daily of the University of Washington, 20/11/2012, vol. 121 issue 14, p. 1, 5.)

Turner Construction participated in a renovation of the Wilsonian Apartments that commenced in early 2012.
