Building History

This second residence for Blair Kirk (1912-2004), a contractor, the brother of the architect Paul Hayden Kirk (1914-1995), was completed in 1960.

Lawyer N. Michael Hansen and his wife, Maureen, and their family purchased the residence in 1964 from Blair Kirk, and have resided in it since that time.

Alteration

The Hansens have made several alterations to the house. Changes were made to the front facade after the Nisqually Earthquake in 2001.
