An unusual office building built "on spec," that is, without tenants lined up before construction began. No office buildings were built on spec in Downtown Seattle between 2000-2006. It was erected 120 feet above the Seattle Convention Center, and with this added height stood 339 feet tall. The law firm Betts Patterson had offices in One Convention Place.
