When built, the $9 million Seminary South Shopping Center was considered to have been the largest in the Southwest, occupying 85 acres and comprising 900,000 square feet of rentable retail space. Lawrence Halprin of San Francisco, CA, acted as Landscape Architect; Loebl, Schlossman and Bennett were the architects; Thomas and Byrne, Incorporated, acted as the Building Contractor.
