This second Arlington Hotel operated after the Fire of 1889, run by O.N. Morse and Son at 1215 Front Street (later 1215 1st Avenue). In 1901, William F. Butler was the President of the Arlington Hotel Company, Spencer F. Butler, Secretary, and David A. Williams, Manager.

The unreinforced-masonry, four-story Gilmore and Kirkman Building occupied the southwest corner of 1st avenue and University Street, the intersection marked by a tall turret. The Gilmore and Kirkman Building contained the Gilmore Hotel, the entrance to which was at 1215 1st Avenue. Another wood-frame Arlington Hotel operated in the early 1880s.

Demolished; The Arlington's last owner, Harbor Properties, razed the building.
