Building History
A notice in the Seattle Times indicated that the City of Seattle granted permssion on 06/29/1903 for the constuction of a new Seattle Athletic Club Builiding: “A permit was issued today for the construction of the Seattle Athletic Club, at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Cherry Street. The building will be five stories high, 60 x 120, and will cost $32,000. The entrance be at 621 Fourth Avenue. Webb & Mendel are the architects.” (See “Permit for Clubhouse,” Seattle Times, 06//29/1903, p. 11.)
Demolition
The Seattle Athletic Club #2 was razed.
