AKA: Kenneth Cole Store, Downtown, San Francisco, CA
Structure Type: built works - commercial buildings - stores
Designers: Mooser, William, Jr., Architect (firm); William Mooser Sr. (architect)
Dates: constructed 1907
3 stories
The top three floors of this building were added in 1917 to be used by H. Liebes and Company; this firm remained at this location until 1947; in a recent renovation, architects Page and Turnbull removed the upper three stories, to enable the building to regain its 1907 appearance; retrofitting the entire six-story structure would have been prohibitively expensive.
