Overview

The Seattle architectural firm of Chiarelli and Kirk designed this residence for a physician Dr. Quinn B. DeMarsh and his wife Gale Nickson. Completed in 1948, it was located in Edmonds, WA.

Building Notes

In 1960, Dr. Q.B. DeMarsh had an office in Room #1625 of the Medical and Dental Building in Downtown Seattle. (See Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1960, p. 397.)

The DeMarsh House won a First Place Award in the Residential Concrete Block and Interior Use category in the Unit Masonry Association, Incorporated's 1954 competition for Puget Sound architects.
