The Southwest Contractor and Manufacturer reported in its issue of 04/07/1917: "Archt. Scott Quintin has drawn plans for a factory building, 40x106 ft., to be built at the plant of the American Can Co. on San Fernando Blvd." (See "Among the Architects, Southwest Contractor and Manufacturer, vol.
