The Seattle Times reported that a building permit had been issued to James H. Perkins for the contruction of a residence at 503 13th Avenue North in Seattle, WA: "Jas. H. Perkins, 503 Thirteenth Avenue North, build 2 1/2-story frame residence, 33x51, $4,000, Bebb & Mendel, architects; Shaffer & Moncreiff, contractors."
