Overview
This 900-seat theatre opened as the "Victory Theatre" in 1919, just after the conclusion of World War I. It operated until 1932 as the Victory, when its name was changed to the "Burbank Theatre." Henry J. Knauer (1885-1955) designed the Victory Theatre, although he was not a certified architect in the State of CA until 1921.
