Overview
In 2012-2015, the north-south Stone Way corridor, connecting the Fremont and Wallingford neighborhoods, underwent a radical change in scale, with six-story, wood-frame apartment units replacing low-rise industrial and retail buildings, most dating from the 1950s and 1960s. The Stone Way Apartments contained 340,300 square feet, and included underground parking, fitness rooms, roof deck, barbecue area and dog run. Seattle-based BNBuilders, Incorporated, was the general contractor for this project.
