Building History

Seattle architect John Graham, Sr., (1873-1955) worked on the design of this hotel with the Scottish-born, Vancouver architect Robert Thompson Garrow (1884-1952). In the mid-to-late 1920s, Graham worked on several apartment buildings/hotels, including the Exeter Apartment Hotel, Tower, First Hill, Seattle, WA (1926-1927) and the Roosevelt Hotel, Seattle, WA (1928-1929) . The Vancouver hotel, done in the Georgian Revival Style, opened on 05/07/1927.
