In 1906, two architectural firms maintained their office in the Rookery, including L.L. Rand (Room #518), C.H. Smith (Room #520). (See R.L. Polk and Company's Spokane, Washington, City Directory, 1906, p. 799.)

In 1920, H.R. Mann and Company, real estate brokers, operated in Room #528 of The Rookery Building.
