Anderson designed this house for Henry and Marion Kotkins and their three children, Adele, Jeanie and Henry, Jr. Kotkins built a significant fortune when he inherited his father's struggling Seattle Suitcase, Trunk and Bag Manufacturing Company in 1936 and built it into what became the Skyway Luggage Company. Henry Kotkins, Sr., died 06/09/2002 while on vacation in Portugal. Kotkins also served as a Seattle Port Commissioner.
