Alteration

Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates served as a Design Consultant for the reconstruction of the Rainier Vista portion of the University of Washington Campus, c. 2008. Planned alterations included the creation of new plantings around Drumheller Fountain, the installation of new seating in the area, and the addition of water reclamation systems.

The Seattle architecture firm of Gustafson Guthrie Nichol (GGN) proposed a renovation of Rainier Vista in 2010.
