Building History

This was an early instance in which Wurster worked with the landscape architect, Thomas Church, at about the same time they worked on a number of houses together at the Pasatiempo Golf Club residential development near Santa Cruz, CA. Wurster's nearby George Pope, Jr., House (1936), at 735 Bromfield Road, also had a garden by Church.
