Comedian Lenny Bruce and two others were injured in a brawl at the Googie's coffee shop at 8100 Sunset Boulevard on 02/04/1957. Bruce was thrown through a window, by part-time actor, Donald Covert. He suffered cuts to his face, legs and foot. Bruce lived at 539 North la Brea Avenue in apartment with fellow comedian, Frank Ray.
