"The bill would, among other things, require developers to give tenants at least 120 days notice [of impeding condominium conversion], up form 90 days now, and hold off on construction until tenants move out. It also would let cities and counties set relocation assistance developers must pay to low-income tenants at up to three months' rent, compared with $500 now."
