The US Census of 1920 indicated that he was married to Clara Wilhelmina Petersen, who was about five years older than he. He married her in 1912 in San Diego, CA. According to the census, she emigrated from Sweden in about 1884 and was naturalilzed in 1890. He and Clara had a daughter, Ruth C. Priest (born c. 03/1918 in CA).

Biographical Notes
