Archiects Abram M. Edelman, John Parkinson and Theodore A. Eisen were members of the Convention Hall Committee of the Merchants' and Manufacturers' Association of Los Angeles. This groups was charged with fund-raising within the architectural profession for the erection of a new convention center.
