This three-story office/retail building had an tri-partite arched entryway on its first floor, composed of cast stone. The central arch was segmental, the two on either side round arches. Upper floors were scored with masonry courses. An elegant cornice topped the front facade.

Architect Ralph Anderson renovated the Smith Block, Butterworth Building, and Alaska Trade Building, part of the Pike Place Market National Historical District, Seattle, WA, in 1977.
