The Seattle Athletic Club #1 occupied the southwest corner of Cherry Street and 4th Avenue.

John Parkinson designed this four-story building in a simplified version of Richardsonian Romanesque Revival Style.

Architect John Parkinson designed and developed the building himself; he left the city for Los Angeles, CA, not long after the Seattle Athletic Club #1 was completed. It was located on the southwest corner of Cherry Street and 4th Avenue.

Demolished; in 2010, this entire block was vacant. The vacant block had a value of $22,848,000 in 2010.
