The Getz House had a group of murals depicting metaphorical figures in religion and the arts. The figure embodying the architect was a portrait of the Getz House architect, Gordon B. Kaufmann. Miller states in this article: "On the north wall, behind the great scultpured figures and their maker, behind the painter working on his triptich, behind the figures of the architect and the cardinal, who are planning to erect great works, rise various types of architecture, Gothic, Moorish, Byzantine, Romanesque, and a great Roman equestrian statue. In the architect one discovers a portrait of Gordon Kaufmann who designed the beautiful residence of which this room is a part. He is dressed in medieval garments."
