This article discussed the jury selection for the West Coast Woods Architectural Competition; its jury consisted of Emery Stanford Hall, AIA, Chicago, IL, Henry C. Hahn, AIA, New York, NY, Louis C. Jaeger, AIA, New York, NY, W.R.B. Willcox, FAIA, Professor, Department of Architecture, Univeristy of Oregon, Eugene, OR, and David J. Myers, AIA, of Schack, Young and Myers, Architects, Seattle, WA. "The competition is conducted under the auspices of the Washington State Chapter A.I.A. The program is for a residence and garage to be built principally of wood, the purpose being to develop new or improved uses and application of the woods of the Pacific Northwest in home construction." The program closed 08/01/1927 and all entries were to be addressed to J. Lister Holmes, Professional Adviser, 1014 Alaska Building, Seattle, Washington.
